1. If you don't plan on living on campus (which i highly recommend for your first semester)...then yes, finding a place off campus is advisable.
2. looking for a car....can be done when you get here (or through valuemd)
3. don't need a SXM license
4. you'll need a physical address here on the island and a letter from the school stating that you're enrolled to open a bank of scotia account.
basically if you do come...explore the island (you won't have much time to do that). Find out where you need to go to buy basic necessities such as food and supplies.
