I just e-mailed MEAS but was wondering if anyone here knew:

Do we need any special paperwork/passport/VISA to clear customs at SXM?? I'm a non-citizen permanent resident (aka I'm a citizen that doesn't vote)

I was not in this situation, as the procedures might vary depending upon your country of citizenship, but I believe you should bring your letter of acceptance from AUC, passport, and your U.S drivers license.

For those living in dorms, anyone get their housing assignment yet? I only got the receipt a few weeks ago.

Thanks, I haven't heard back from MEAS yet, I'm just going to call my advisor tomorrow and i'll post what I hear..

I only got my receipt about a week ago, we should be getting them any time soon (my receipt also said we would be getting assignments ~2wks prior to the beginning of classes)

The students just finished checking out of housing at the campus today. So hopefully they will get you the info soon.

By the way, if I were you, I would move out of the dorms in the first two weeks to an apartment nearby. You can get your deposit and rent back within the first two weeks and you don't have to suffer the lack of electricity and water (and a dependable internet connection). Good luck to those of you staying in the dorms... haha

haha... make sure to check your spam filter - this one came from R.R.'s email account, not any AUC account..if that makes sense.
