I wouldn't put it past them.

Can you give us an update to the number of May students you have listed thus far? On the same note, at what point is a student added to that list - after initial deposit/housing deposit? I would think the list would get smaller as students pursue other options or defer?

There are about 47 students right now. Some do leave, but others are accepted. There have actually not been many to withdraw. Unless you get accepted to a US school, I don't know why anyone would withdraw. They're put on the list as confirmed after they've paid their enrollment deposit.

The young kids usually bring their parents to help them get settled. It usually helps them.

Buying new scooter

My mom is coming down with me, though I am not a total young 'un. She just loves me sooo much (and needs a vacation haha). She's staying for a week.

I got a place at Point Piroutte, about 5min drive, and need to get a scooter. I ran some searches and found a thread called "scooter ownership questions" but was wondering WHERE I should go to buy a new scooter. Plane lands, drop off the luggage, where am I going to get some wheels?

Also, I heard that the 'American' scooters are not the best ones to go with.. true? What are the other kinds?

Spanks!
