i was accepted to AUC 3 weeks ago for september 08 but haven't paid my deposit yet. i'm waiting on sgu, ross and a few DO schools. this won't hinder my chances much at a reserving a spot this early for september will it? i should be hearing back from schools in the next month but i still want AUC as my backup option in case I don't get in anywhere else!

perhaps i should call for an extension of the deposit? any input would be appreciated thanks!

You can always call for an extension, the worst they can say is no. But I doubt if the Fall class is really filling up yet, they are most likely still focusing on May.

SGU took FOREVER with my application. AUC took a while, but SGU was almost 3 months before I even heard that they wanted to interview me. After the interview is was another 2 months before I got an acceptance. By that time I had already been accepted to AUC and sent in my deposit. AUC was my first choice though (smaller classes = huge plus for me, and SxM is a MUCH nicer island). Good Luck whatever you decide!

Could someone please tell me how long did it take to here back from AUC once their application was submitted to the committee for review? I am just trying to get an idea because the committee has my application now for review!!

2 weeks here too, once I finally got them everything they needed.

Mine took a little longer, but I applied almost a year before my desired starting semester. They were still working January and May 08, and I applied for Fall 08. I think mine took almost a month, but from what I understand that was the exception to the norm. Most people I think hear in about 2 weeks.
