You've got plenty of time...they're probably busy getting the January class together right now. Maybe they'll call you on christmas with the good news. Since AUC is so devoted to their students, they probably work Christmas.

Haha, I hope you're right. Wouldn't that be nice if it were true... It would be great to get the call on Christmas, but I'd like to hear a little sooner than that so I don't worry about all that during the Holidays. I hear the committee meets on Wednesdays, but when do they tell the admissions counselors so they can call us with the news?

From what I was told by my admissions counselor, they're part of the conference call when the decision is made. But, not 100% certain that that's true.

Question
when did everyone hear from their admissions counselor in the first place? i still haven't, it's been about 2 weeks ...

It took right around a week and a half after I sent my application in to get a call from my advisor saying my file was received and what was needed of me. After that, I have called them. You could always call and make sure they got your stuff.

I had everything in around mid october. My advisor called to inform me about acceptance last tuesday (11/20), so about 1 month. this is for fall 08

ooh and get ready to be ripped off when you move out by the inspection. for some people, they charged them if they didnt pay the house cleaning lady to clean their room first
