No, I cannot help you get a residency.

Apply Now.....Get an MD in 6 Weeks....

If you fail at AUC, SGU, or Ross why not transfer to SMU, if you fail at SMU, why not try another SMU.

I commend you for aiming high, in theory we should all aim for a perfect score. But in reality, you can find a peds spot with less than a 200. Its been done many times. The same applies to FP, Psych, and Internal Med. That being said, these will be less desireable programs in non-univeristy settings. Also, the popularity of specialties flucutuates from year to year, rumor is IM was very competitive last year. But, if you have good grades, a 220+, and good LOR's- you will definately match in peds.

One thing I found very interesting is that on one of the pages it shows that Step 2 is the most influential determinate of whether you will match or not. It also looks like in most specialties that if you can get 10-12 interviews you have a pretty darn good chance of matching.

From what I've heard, both on and off of valuemd, it is true that US citizens do better. If for no other reason, than because they don't need a visa and many places don't want to sponsor a visa.

So lets transform the % to numbers
US citizen that get inn= 1,347
Non Us citizen that got in=3,180

They are trying to make US citizen have a priority so ALL US citizen IMG get a spot, but a lot of controversy have evolve in congress.

END OF DISCUSSION.
