equipment

Could someone give me a good estimate of what the following items cost to purchase from the note services? I am trying to make a budget.

Short white student lab coat-
Laboratory guide and Benchmarks-
Anatomy Atlas
Dissection kits-$40.00
clipboard
Latex gloves
scrubs

What is a professional lab shoe (with enclosed heel), this is diff. from the tennis/rubber-soled shoes (suitable but not recommended)??

Snickers will be just fine for the lab. Coat ~40. You can bring your own scrubs if you want. Note service doesn't cell anatomy atlas, you have to get it yourself and bring with you or purchase via university bookstore. Benchmark cost around 15-20 don't remember. Lab guide is like 10. Gloves I'm not sure but I think its 3-5.

inter, read my post earlier, did they not send you guys an orientation packet??? Everywhere on the Dutch side takes dollars the prices are really no worse than NYC or some other big city but if your from a small town like me you'll notice a difference. Read your orientation materials and other posts on here before asking.

I got the book list for the first semester. Of the medical supplies, lab coats, pen lights, etc.? What exactly do we need for the first year? I am guessing a lab coat would be required.

you need the auc lab coat for lab. you don't need any actual medical stuff until later (steth, pen light, etc)

equipment

I know that the online bookstore concept is new, so if you don't know thats ok. anyways, on the online bookstore under equipment they are selling two types of clipboards (one is a fancy clinical clipboard and the other is basic), many kinds of dissection kits, gloves, two types of labcoats and also scrubs.

Should I purchase the items on my list through note services like the person at registrar has told me to do or should I buy all of this through online bookstore since it is listed??

It didn't appear that the aUC logo was on the labcoat they were selling though?

I expect everything else on the list of equipment to be available at note services, such as the lab manual, right?

I don't believe note service is selling ANYTHING. If you order via university bookstore, it will be delivered to school and you can pick it up at note service.
