I think this is a horrible site for getting "official" school information. It is a site with a ton of useful information on it, however. Nice thing is, there is something for everyone. From pre-meds, up through residents. There are people here in all levels of training. From high school to 20+ years in practice. Too bad the school officials don't see it that way. I know the AUC folks are pretty supportive of posting on the forum. The school officials read the posts. It gives them an idea of what the students are thinking and how they feel about the school and other issues. I think this place is a goldmine for everyone. G

Not as people from individual schools...we are lumped into the category fo IMG's. We all have more or less the same obstacles, and we can all help each other out. We shouldn't limit the discussions to just one school. G
How dare you bring statistics onto this forum. I think I still hold the record at AUC for lowest score received on a Biostatistics test (though to redeem myself I smoked H bombs molecular test).

Which is why you have to choose your words very carefully sometimes on VMD. Administration, admissions, etc, can gleam a lot of information on a user if they wanted to by reading their posts.

That's not to say if something's wrong to sugar coat it or kiss up. But don't be a prick about how you say it, I mean, that's also just common sense and courtesy.
