i'm sorry if i offended you and thank you for the input; we thought that Sonesta was just the other half to the royal islander- they have 2 hotels - la plage and la terrace - right?
i was auc from 2000 to 02, and am currently an er attending in mi; we've returned to 'the rock' via our timeshare at sapphire - last year we walked from blue tortuga along the beach and stumbled across this hotel we'd never seen before;
it looked fairly new/redone - dont know of anyone who's stayed there; dont even know if it's a timeshare place or just a 'holiday inn' / motel rate place; the bar/buffett area was hopping the day we went;

I am very sensitive....sometimes

I'm pretty sure it is the Sonesta- I know they have a buffet anyway. And the hotel is BEAUTIFUL, and there pool! AWESOME.....
