I'll go along with what everyone else here has said. Your MCAT is strong but your GPA is very weak, both cumulative and science. Your background/extracurriculars are fine, though I'm not sure enough to offset your academic standing. The best bet would be to write a personal statement that will make you stand out and give the adcom's something to consider about you.

i agree with SOE. your mcat is great but since your GPA is so low. your mcat might not be able to offset your low gpa. however, i suggest you try applying. you never know.

is there a reason why your gpa was so low?

i think you should apply to find out for sure. this would probably be one of the better mcat scores they see, so they might not want to pass that up. it will cost you the price of the application fee to find out. good luck

33 MCAT is about average, just ask everyone what they got and you'll see.

Average? Ok there. I've seen most candidates between the range of 25 - 30 being accepted, so I'd say the mean is around 28. Score of 33, is far from 28.

It was a joke. The average is actually around 24. However, if you ask people, an awful lot like to tell you how they got a 30 or above, were accepted to US schools, but just liked the weather in SXM, or something silly like that.

Sorry, about that. Yeah, I just wished now I worked harder in undergrad. Not skipping classes, hanging out with the wrong people, etc etc. I would really like to go to AUC after talking to a moderator on the board.
