get your apps done early, do your admission essay well... send it in early.

hahah are you serious? are you really asking this question or are you trying to make yourself look good? hopefully you will get in somewhere in the US with those scores....if not, then and only then should you ask about the caribbean

for you to come to the caribbean would be an enormous mistake. Unless you have something screwed up in your application that you're not telling us about, or you can't give an interview at all, you should get in to the US.

Don't be too picky either...apply to a lot of schools, even if they wouldn't be your first choice. Better to be at a US school that you don't necessarily love than be in the caribbean.

I feel your pain...I know of a few people in the US with scores below mine. None of them are white. It's unfortunate.

I have applied for some DO schools in the US, but AUC is the only caribbean school I am considering (honestly, the thought of going to school at SXM is a lot more exciting to me and my wife than going to school in St. Louis or Chicago...).
