for general advice, sdn is no good for carib students - but it's EXCELLENT for MCAT - I spent only $150 on all review materials going off the recommendations on SDN for good, cheap books, good, cheap exams - it sure as hell beats spending $1600 on Kaplan.

Hey guys what are my chances at AUC, i have a 3.14 gpa from ucla and similar science gpa and a 34Q on the MCAT.

Very good chance (I'd be very surprised if they said no). I'm hoping you applied to US schools also, though.

you have a great shot here. try applying to lower tier us schools or maybe consider a postbac or masters

You will get in based on your numbers. You basically have my GPA, with a higher MCAT, and I got in for the fall of 2008.

you should be able to get in here. i had those stats and here i am. i would keep your failure at ross on the DL. i know people who have flunked out of here and went to ross to start over without telling them they had been at auc so im sure it can work both ways.

the big issue will be to solve why you failed the class(es) in the first place. keep in mind that auc does not have a calculated minimum passing score as ross has. its 70....no negotiation
