Does anyone at AUC play blackjack and/or count cards? I was curious about the local rules and casino heat for counters. Gotta put that loan money to good use... ha...

I heard a guy in anatomy has been going to the casinos and has or at less as of last week won 10k. maybe he counts cards.

I love to play craps but since being in school I haven't been doing much but studying and going for a quick swim every now and then.

do they have poker down there?
Hi there. The rules are mid of the line player-friendly.
*Card counting is almost futile, since most casinos use 6 or more decks and take a deep cut into the deck.
*Most casinos (I think all of them) only allow one card upon doubling down, so make sure you don't double unless the dealer card is weak, unless you feel good about otherwise..
*Splitting of aces are only allowed once in some, while at other you can split more times.
*Don't play on a table if there's only 1 or 2 other players there and they seem to be locals. I don't think there is to much scam, but sometimes it's better to be a boit cautious.
*Haven't seen any place where you can surrender so just count on that.
I personally like Dolphin casino the best, but from my experience Diamond in Front street (at the the end towards the cruise dock) seems to be very generous.
Also check into Casino Royale towards the french side.
Good luck (with both school and the gambling life)

510 points guys,
i wish you good luck on your enterprice, taking loans to pay for investments or gambling is not a recomended discipline, but anyways allow me to provide you with a link, i found a while ago, its quite usefull, its about blackjack bankroll managment blackjack-advanced.com/Index.asp?ID=130 good look again
I can speak from personal experience there. First of all you are crazy if you plan on playing blackjack there as a source of money. Trust me I dropped like $2000 playing blackjack. It's the devil, especially at Atlantis casino. I knew friends that dumped 5-10k playing blackjack. So stay away, even if you count cards, they find out you are out. You come back again and try it, the casino going to take outside and go tony soprano on you. So stick to poker. The frenchies there will be the dumbest player you have ever encountered. They're beyond bad, they're terrible.
