Thread: Can someone direct me to the barber?

First off, let me say I love it here. I like the teachers I like the island I like the students. So thank you to all those people who helped in my preperation for this wonderful experience.

I need a haircut and dont mind taking the bus/van into town to get it. But I dont want to pay a lot because im senior el cheapo.

Where do you guys go to get trimmed up?

If you don't mind walking, i go to Hair illusions at the hotel by the school (sonesta). The lady there does a really good job, and we get an AUC discount (just make sure you remind them). As a female, I pay 30-60 dollars, depending on what i want done, but I've noticed that men's haircuts go from $15-25.

There's a stylist on Airport road headed into simpson bay just past Turtle Pier. Cheap, but make sure the person cutting your hair speaks english (yes, that's the voice of experience.... ). Walk in, no appointment.

Another option is the one that's in Maho near the scuba dive shop. The guys there did a pretty good job, but you can never get ahold of them to make an appointment because they almost never pick up the phone. Appointments needed.

I used to go to Rive Gauche.....great place.....you get a head massage and tea

i miss my head massages, i cant get the woman to soak my hair, put shampoo on it and massage for 15 minutes

btw it was probably the best tea i have ever had and im not a tea drinker.....coffee and espresso here

Get some scissors from the Antomy lab and stand in front of your mirror in your bathroom.
