muslim students

Hi
I wanted to know if any MSA member or any student was soo bored out of their minds that they would like to discuss the different schools with me.I am applying to the carribeans for this may, need some info abt different schools. If someone can spare some time, ill really appreciate it.For a start, how would u compare AUC with Ross,St.george,Saba?are there any other schools which i shud be considering?

Here is my criteria.
St.George is very expensive, other two are in the same range,Saba is cheaper.Since il be getting a loan,im not too worried abt that but which gives the most bang for the buck?
qaulity of education shud be good( Ross has good quality but the school is known to be tough on u,so iteration is high)
I met this AUA student and he seems to think AUA is better than all of them, another one recommended St.Eusta---- something, and St.Mathews, both of which arent included inthe top 4.Im really confused abt the whole issue these days.

Information

I just wanted to let all of you know that if you have any questions regarding pretty much anything, please use the contact e-mail address under the "Contact" link on the website. The website hasn't been updated in a while because our webmaster left the island last semester, but we have recruited a new webmaster who will be changing and updating things ... so keep a lookout for that.

Specificially, if you have any questions about Muslim roommates (like some of the sisters do), please use the same e-mail address and we'll try to see what can be done.

As for the other question, there is no room given by the University for Salah (except for the Friday prayer, which is held in the old Lecture Hall 4, now called the Study Room)... but there are plenty of people who live in the dorms or in the nearby apartments that people who don't live closeby or wanna pray jama'h, can pray with. There's no reason to worry about making prayers for anyone.

Thanks... take care!

valuemd has forums for each of those schools you mentioned.
don't take this the wrong way but it's time you did some footwork.
go through each section and see what people have to say about each school...
and i can almost guarantee you'll find a 'X vs Y' thread...
i.e. AUC vs Ross, Ross, vs Saba, etc... (do a search)
i doubt there are many people that have transferred from a caribb school to another one.. so i think it's kinda hard to answer 'which is best'..

1. compare residency placements
2. do you like more 'urbanized' islands or are you all about nature
3. tuition/living costs (remember you gotta pay loans back lol)

that should be a healthy start for you in making an educated decision.
good luck.
