Were any of you able to get TERI loan with a bad credit history? Is it impossible?

Don't despair

It is possible to clean up your credit in just a couple of months. We did it, and you can, too. No services, no charge, just you, putting in your time, learning how it works, and doing it.

www.creditboards.com

Check it out, read, read, read, and get after it. You'd be surprised. We raised our credit score around 150 point before applying for our Sallie Mae. I know several others who have done it, too.

Good luck!

Hi tRmedic21

Thank you so much for your reply. The website helped. My score is around 507 and I am going to get to paying some of the debts off. Did you pay off a lot of the balances or just made monthly payments to increase the score? I would greatly appreciate your reply.

Thanks again. I know you are busy so if I don't hear from you, I understand.

Hi all,
I'm new to this credit score thing. Can you guys tell me how to read the credit scores? How does the score of 507 compare to say 150?

Cheers....

Hi ML,

You can find info on the Equifax website. You can even get your own report (around Can$ 21)The credit (FICO) score ranges from 300 and 900. The higher your score, the better you will be considered for a loan. They range from high to low risk. Unfortunately, I am in the high risk (507). If you have a score around 750 and up, you are in good status. The score I think is based on your regular payments to creditors and also how much you owe them.

Hope this helps.

Credit Score to obtain the loan

Does anyone know the lowest credit score the Teri or Med Achiever will take, and/or any alternatives???

I applied for Med Achiever and was denied. I visited Creditboards (excellent site). I've already done what the creditboard site recommends yet I still have 3 accounts that won't come off. Apparently, these 3 accounts are what is holding me back.

My Score

Even though I was reluctant, I ran a credit check on equifax and my FICO score came out to be at 721. What does this mean for me as far as the private loans are concerned while attending AUC? Will I be qualified?

Cheers...

OMG!!! the heck.....These loan repayments are killing me. Why can't banks consider us poor and let go. Half my monthly income is going to loans

PS: I hate cold weather like no other

I know for Teri loan, because I called, that a score above 650 makes you eligeable. For canadians $25,000/yr without cosigner and $45,000 with.
