Hey .........I checked the Academic Calendar for the Fall '06 term and the semester ends on Dec. 15th. Do you think its feasible to fly out on the 15th (in the evening after finals) or should I wait and be safe and fly out on the 16th? Just wondering what currents and past students have done.

Also, if we are allowed to stay in the dorms past the 1st semester, do we have to move all our stuff out at the end of every semester and move back in or can we just leave it there during the break?

I prefer to go the same day as my last finals or a few days later. I somehow miss flights for the exact day after finals as I have a tendency to celebrate the completion of the semester with all my AUC friends when I am on island the first night after finals.

if you're allowed to stay in the dorms, you don't have to move out. you can keep all your stuff inside your apartment.

Just hang out for a day or so cause your gonna want to do something right after all your finals are over. You could play all night and still catch the 2:00 outa here.

Make sure you can wake up for the two oclock flight or have someone who can make sure you are on your flight (person who can give you a ride to the airport).

so far, i love SXM & really like AUC and the people here, but i view the upcoming august break back to the US as conjugal visit time, (not to mention real enchiladas, chicken fried steak and starbucks) so i'll be on the early afternoon flight outta here the day of my last final (that'll be me peeling out in the parking lot) and i won't come back till the very last minute.

Sure, you can schedule to leave on the evening of the 15th and be fine. It is also likely that your last final will end a day or so before the 15th.

Side Note: How come Tyler is not staying for the after partae after finals???
