When is the White Coat ceremony usually held? Are the coats embroidered with the AUC logo and the students name?

They are usually held on the 2nd Friday. You can buy an AUC whitecoat with the AUC logo on it. No, they don't have students' names on 'em, though I guess you can find a place to do it for you. Or put a tape with your name written on it.

There are two tailor shops in Philipsburg that can probably do it. I would think that the laundry ladies (Domies) next to the Chinese place would know where to have it done (they may be able to take care of it for you).
I think a black marker would be classic.

I'm not even sure where my whitecoat is anymore.

in DO school it looks like this:

your name
student physician

Perhaps gold thread would be best for AUC embroidery. I suppose students could always leave out the emboidery and wear the AUC student ID as if it were a REAL hospital pass. The sad part is that the AUC ID just gets you into the Rotunda and no discounts in the cafeteria.

I ordered my white coat online before I came down and had it embroidered with my name and stuff on it. It's a lot cheaper that way.

Where did you order it from?
