whoa...y'all have just opened up a big can of whoop-***...
what can I say, I did hold a couple of kick *** parties in my day...but they were all pretty much pre-parties after exams. So no real loud noise past 11pm or so... no one ever said anything to me...i wonder why??? lol... all joking aside, that is pretty rude. especially at 4am. the nerve of some people... There was this one time like around 11pm on a weeknight that there was this LOUD noise coming from not directly above me, but above me and to the right. It was like someone was taking their sofa and kept moving it back and forth across the floor repeatedly. I tried to ignore it at first, but it just kept going and going...LOUD stuff. So, I went upstairs, and found out it wasn't swimguy and his fiancee...lol...anywho, it was someone next door to him. Talk about putting on a show. I could have taped that (not video!! just the audio) and sold it to a porn company for BIG BUCKS. Just goes to show you never know what you may hear...needless to say, the noise wasn't the couch moving back and forth across the floor...it was the bed in the bedroom. All I have to say is...PLAY ON PLAYA'!!!!! |

I will attest to the fact that these people are being very rude and are a nuisance! I not only was awoke at 4am, but again at 6am!!!! Please be considerate as some of us spouses have to get up and work in the morning while your happy tails are passed out until 2 pm in your apartment. Please be considerate in the future!!!

hey all
i live here at campus village. i too have heard a lot of noise (first floor), most probably its the second semesters who i see making all the damn noise. when i hear it and it bothers me, i just tell them, depending on my mood, to either shut the F up or, politely ask them to keep it down because i have tests coming up. i had to do that thurs night before my PATH 1 EXAM. if it happens chronically, which it does not for me, i would just tell them once, twice, and then a third time, and if that doesnt stop them, just go to management and tell solutions exactly who is making the noise and to take care of it (shut ur damn mouth or u are out of CV). three times is more than enough warnings (my friends say once is enough but lets be generous here). i heard this weekend (i dont reember which day) that someone was yellling like hell around 4am for quite a while. i was sleeping and didnt hear it, but if i did i sure as hell would have got up and told them to shut the hell up. i think it is getting out of hand and if it continues i AM going to management and complain and let the chips fall where they may. they DID kick out some ppl about a month ago because of excessive noise and were told to leave in 24 hrs. so for you (most probably) second semesters, please be considerate and shut your pie-hole. there are a lot of us trying to sleep and study. go party and make noise at the clubs. alchemist

I doubt any of the noise makers are reading this... and if they are, they're prolly laughing and saying less than some colorful vocabulary in the form of a transitive verb.
All I can say is that if you know who the people are, first talk to them and if that doesn't produce results, lodge a complaint with the super... if that doesn't work, take more extreme action and goto the Dean of Student Affairs. |
