Thread: may 2003 new students

I will be starting school this May at AUC and I am interested in meeting some of the new students in the class. I will be in st. maarten the 29 of April. I wanted to be there a week before classes start to get familiar with the area, know where the food is or the store and also get the essentials.

If you are coming to the island early and are interested in meeting your new fellow students, please let me know. I will be checking for any responces and also my personal inbox of this website. I am from LA, graduated from bruinville in 2000.

I'll be there on the 28th i am a former architect and changed careers after i saw my first pay check...hehe i didn't like architectural practice i got my ** in biology and chemistry and here i am.

Feel free to contact me at 552-6049 whenever you guys get here, and I would be more than happy to meet up and yak about the States or talk about the island or the school. Ric's Place is a decent place to get a beer, as is Sunset Beach Bar, and numerous other joints.

I'll be around through most of the break (when I'm not floating facedown in the water with a snorkel), so don't hesitate to holla!

Never been night diving, sorry. I plan on getting scuba cert this semester, if the funds hold out.
