Talking Round trip or just fly low rate???

Are we required to buy the round trip or just one way to Antigua?
Could this create a problem with the local authority if someone does not buy the round trip ticket?

Which is the cheapest airline to travel with from Newark or Jfk to Antigua?

I never had a return ticket when I got here, but I did have my immigration letter sent to me by the school. After you get here, the Customs Department will stamp your passport to indicate that you are an AUA student, and you will never again need a return ticket or an immigration letter on future trips in.

Tell me about barber shops in antigua:
Feel free to tell me about the cuts or just tell me to shave it all.
I need to really have my weekly cuts because I belong to those who have the shinny hair that we all detested. I saw my first one when I was 10. My younger cousin, who is just 21, is all greyish. I am Not completely grey, but they are popping all over the scalp...like rice field. I bet stress in med school will make it worst!
Describe the haircuts please:
Decent cut, bad cuts or can live with it cuts in Antigua????

There's a hair salon on campus where I get 10 dollar haircuts. I don't know about any others.

Are there any American fast-food places like some of the other Islands? (Papa Johns, McDonanlds)?

What kind of voltage is it, can you plug your american electronics in the sockets or are the plugs different?

Do people open accounts there or do they just use their ATM cards?

10 Bucks haircuts not that bad. I wonder if they do your hair right though?? As long as they keep mine low and clean, I will be in heaven

There won't be enough time to mess around with the dye

Ha! That's funny - American fast food restaurants in Antigua? No way! There are a couple KFCs but they are nowhere near what US KFC is like. In fact, once you eat there once, you will never want to go back again. I do have to add a little info on a good restaurant across the street from KFC. It's called Papi's. They have slightly healthier food like grilled chicken and BBQ chicken, along with other more American-style food. There is a pizza place and a Chinese food place down the street from the school, but how good it tastes depends on what day it is.

Voltage - that all depends on where you live. Some places are 110, some are 220, and some are a mixture of both. If you get stuck in a place that is all 220, you just have to buy a transformer. Plug a power strip/surge protector strip into it so you can plug in more than 1 or 2 things at a time.

I never opened a bank account there but you need to be very careful with your money. It's good to make sure the school sends your financial aid check to your house, and then have your family deposit it in your account so you can just use your ATM card. You usually get charged a few dollars in fees since the bank is a little far from your usual bank. Money goes quickly there so you'll be making frequent trips to the bank and waiting in line FOREVER.
