American University of Antigua is building a new state of the art facility on Antigua.

There's lots of construction projects happening right now, most of which should be complete by January:

Library Expansion
New Micro Lab
Center for Tropical Disease
Student Center + Food Court

Pre-meds are taking over our Micro lab for Bio/Chem, I think. There's also off-campus projects in progress.

With all the drilling noise we have to put up with, they better be state of the art.

The new wing of the library opened today. They're working on the student center/food court now.

What exactly are the off-campus projects? New housing?

Actually .... I have a good source that tells me that the off-campus projects may be the primary campus and everything that we now know to be AUA will be the nursing/vet school. But none of this is public or official yet.

But housing is being built too in a different area.

Sree when would the new med-school campus be completed?

Define "state of the art." State of the art compared to whom? AUA would have to sink a LOT of money to be comparable to say a US facility.

yes please define "state of the art"... do you mean just physical facilities, resources available to students, or both?

Can anyone tell me if this is also called the University of Health Sciences Antigua School of Medicine? Are there 2 medical schools on the island? I am confused.
