You will find out--when you grow up--that there are some people better at teaching than others. I'm also sure that if you've taken the time to work on NBME exams you will have noticed that those professors that tend to save peoples butts end up cutting their throats in the end. That doesn't mean they are bad people! It just means they need to focus on the ones that will make it and not worry about those who should, as you said, 'exchange gas'.

Let me also apologize to the professor I insulted. I let a nat piss me off and I took it out on someone who didn't ask to be insulted or deserve it.
