How important is California approval to you? Not sure about CMB schools in Caribbean will accept you, other schools might. Can't tell widout MCAT. Also what's to stop same performance in med school as undergraduate? Passing medical school is one thing, but getting board scores for residency is important too.

california approval i dont care for i would like to stay in the east coast practice somewhere in the tri state area NY NJ etc.

i am dedicated to this i have no other want no other need that is the reason i believe i will be able to make it. i have had opportunities to have a career change and be successful but this is what i want to do i realized this after working in a marketing firm for an yr and change. i have gone through a lot through my undergrad yrs personal reasons financial reasons and i think most ppl go through that because its just a stage in life u become an adult. so i don't wana blame it on that everyone goes through it some people are able to handle it better then others. i just want a second chance and i want to start the next stage i wana get over the hump and be in an environment where i can give my 100% towards my education and come out successful.

If you've got the $75 for the application fee it's worth applying. AUA doesn't require the MCAT (as of yet at least) but with your GPA I would recommend taking it. They definitely take your work schedule into account so that could somewhat explain a low GPA but I'm not sure if that's enough to cover a 2.4. If you have good pre-req grades that would be a bonus, bust your butt to get a good grade in orgo 2. Where you go to school and what your major is may also help explain your GPA. You are right in that the SGU/Ross/AUC/Saba are most likely out. You could try for Ross and they will undoubtedly put you into MERP if they decide to grant you admission. I would suggest doing a post-bacc special master's program or something, if you work hard there and still don't get admission to a US school, then it you most likely will stand a good chance at any of the Big 5. If you don't care about Cali you could get into a lower-tier caribbean school, but it's just going to be that much tougher of a path to get a residency, good luck

The lower tier schools have limitations in loans. Really worth it if you can pay straight cash.

    hey thanks appreciate your time.

i really don't want to stay back and do the post bac programs, thts something i looked at but really dont want to stay back another yr or w.e. im taking orgo 2 this summer and will most likely do good since thats the only class i have to take and apply to AUA.
should i take the MCAT this summer and apply for january then? or just apply for august?
the thing is i really want to be out ASAP. the Merp program i have heard of but thats liek post bac i gotta start doing a whole curriculum before i start med school.
how about MUA and which other schools would be still decent even though they dont have a big name?

I have no real recommendation. You should research into UMHS, Windsor, and St. Matthews. Check those threads, as I'm not a student there, and haven't done much reading about it. I do know UMHS was owned by the Ross family, and they have great facilities. Though it's expensive and no loan option.

I don't go AUA, I'm matriculating SGU. Did some research of other schools just in case I didn't get into SGU. As for AUA, doesn't hurt to apply.
