Your questions have been answered multiple times in multiple threads. Most current students don't have the time or inclination to keep answering the same questions over and over again. Your best bet would be to go to an Info Seminar and speak with some of the students / recent alumni there.

GIJ - Rahulb is somene to whom, if he had the time and evergy, you would want to listen. One of the smartest people I have met in my life.
A suggestion: Ask one or two questions. At least one will probably be answered. Expecting anyone to contribute to a laundry list of concerns is unrealistic.

687 points 1. took step1 6 weeks after basic sciences. studied on my own and didn't need to take any prep course. read my review
http://www.valuemd.com/american-univ...xam-youll.html
2. no, i graduated in ~3.5 years
3. very good. avoid nyc, go to baltimore (harbor/union)
4. attendings generally love med students that are enthusiastic and put in effort. if you go home and read about whatever they discussed you will be a hotshot. same is applicable for interns/residents. important to learn good habits early and carry them thru residency
5. much better at present time
6. sure. graduated on time, matched into a great program. getting $$$ now
once again if you search you'll find answers to pretty much any question you have. simply searching for step1 would have pointed you to my thread and you wouldn't have had to ask. all of your Qs have been answered extensively in the recent past
