Thread: mini 2

what did u guys think about mini 2 for med 2? anyone else think that the school can make it a lil more obvious there trying to fail us out? most of the class failed! no curves.

It was so unfair of them! I'm not even gonna study for the next mini!!1

MED2 is the hardest semester. Either you can survive or you can't. Think of MED2 as your saving grace. If you can't pass MED2 you won't be able to pass STEP1, so AUA is saving you a lot of time and money.

You have to use resources that the school give you like TAs, FSG, etc. And actually do work everyday, not just one week before. If you still are failing, then try to meet with EED etc, believe it or not ,they are actually here to help you. By the way, I am in Med 3 and I made it taking all 4, so can you!!

Its very obvious, that you are immature and stupid and not ready for med school. Study and study hard and try and find ways how to do better instead of listening to people with this nonsense. Why would the school try to have a high attrition rate?????????????? Does this make any sense. OK you did not do well but try and do better and find out what you did wrong, et instead of wasting your time on this forum talking crap. It bothers me that some of you want to be spoon fed and have life easy and when you are supposed to take the standard exams like shelf and comp you complain that the school did not prepare you. Grow up and go study!

What courses are in it for you guys in MD2?

For umhs we have biochem, genetics, physio, embryo.
I would say the toughest of them would be physio.

U choose the Caribbean route. On this route, the professors suck, and u r pretty much on ur own. If u can own this much, and work hard enough (lessen the amt. of partying time), u will make it thru all semesters !

one exam isn't going to kill you, just work harder and make sure u kill the next one.... med2 is def the hardest semester but once you pass that it's smooth sailing after that
