Thread: Can we ship fed ex to antigua?

Can we ship our things through Fed ex to our dorms or the school? I called Fed ex and they said they ship to the recipient's door in Antigua...How does shipping things to aua exactly work?? Do you guys recommend it?

I said this before, but if you are shipping, your are bringing TOO MUCH.

I have things sent by FedEx fairly frequently. Have it sent to the school and then you go pick it up. If it is sent in an envelope then it will probably be delivered to the school. Otherwise, you will have to go to the customs facility and pick it up and pay an insane amount of money.

What he means about insane amount of money is customs. They charge a certain percentage, I'm not sure exactly what it is, but it's A LOT! That's why I would advise you to make sure whatever you get shipped does not look brand new because if there is no price claimed, sometimes they go as far as estimating the value of a product and make you pay the customs tax on that price.
