Thread: AUA scholarships question

I was wondering if anyone has received any of the scholarships that are on the AUA website. Is the Antiguan scholarship just for Antigua residents or can anyone apply? Do you qualify for the Antiguan scholarship automatically or do you have to apply? I've been accepted for Fall but between no potential good cosigners and not having the best credit score myself, I'm getting kinda worried with how I will pay for school. I am thinking about retaking the MCAT and taking some time off to strengthen my application for US schools but I already sent in my deposit and I'm still hoping to start AUA in the Fall. I think realistically at this point only a shot at the scholarships the school offer could help me out with the financial dilemma I'm in. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

I do know of people in my class who do have scholarships. The antiguan scholarships I believe are only for antiguans. You might want to call your student coordinator and see how to go about applying for them.
