I'm not sure it really matters. Why? - As far as I know, if you take classes at a school that does not have Cali approval, you will have to retake the classes at a California approved school to be eligible to practice there. So if it's 2 years or 10 years for the school to become approved, it matters not. The credits you completed will not be accepted by California if you go to a school that is not on their approval list.

510 points it might be on their website when they were approved...subtract that from their founding date and you have your answer. other than that, you're not going to find many that know.

auc got approval in 1986 and the school was founded in 1978. however, back in the 80's when cali gave its approval, the approval was retroactive for the life of the school to include its first class.

Saba gained CMB approval in 2005 retroactive to Jan 1, 2002.
Saba's Approval Report
Considering how much CMB has (apparently) changed their approval process which now includes a Self-Assessment Report, guessing the timeframe for a new school to gain approval will be difficult to judge.
