Irish, have you been able to get any good advice from people as to where to rent a car once you get to the island? I booked one for my wife and I with Hertz at the airport for the first week but don't really even know where to turn after that. We get in early before the new student orientation too. I've just gotten advice on renting vs. buying but would like some kind of direction to head when we get there. Thoughts?

I'm all about the long lab coat.

p.s. your boys screwed up my bracket this year. For some reason I actually saw them upsetting UNC to head to the sweet 16. I don't know what I was thinking....

So is it a "rule" per se that students wear short lab coats and drs. wear long ones? Just thought I'd clear that up before my order goes out. Thanks!

Hey Sree, that's actually a good point. I have med students from Boston University that work for me now and they're required to wear short coats identifying them as students when they're walking around the hospital (they also have patches on the arm stating the fact). Does it matter if you're wearing a lab coat on campus in the lab though? I only ask because I have a ton of them and they're all long!

At BUSM they also start every year off with a 'white coat ceremony' wear the school presents them their short coats. Does AUA do anything like that or is our white coat ceremony buying your own at the book store?

Irish, I just want to see Memphis get beat. They put the worst beat down on us in the Sweet 16 that I've ever seen a Tom Izzo team take. I still can't figure it out. The first half of that game was the hardest 20 minutes of Michigan State basketball that I've had to watch in 25 years.

Does anybody else have any advice as far as directions to look finding a rental car? I might take that same route using University transportation the first semester but my wife wouldn't be down with being stuck at home all day.
