Definitelyyyyy get it from back home. They charge about double the price here at the bookstore. You may not use the snellen eye exam chart or patella hammer everytime during class, because when you work in groups, you can use other peoples stuff. BUT, for your final exam, you will need to have all this stuff. Some people ended up buying it before their practical exam or borrowing from others, which is a pain in the ***.

The only eye chart I saw in stores was the regular long one seen in a doctor's office. Is that ok? There weren't any mini ones.

no, you really don't need a snellen chart till 4th semester. don't worry about it.

its true

indeed its true. there realli isnt any local addresses here

AUA College of Medicine
ATT: Your NAME
Jasmine Court, Friars Hill Road
P.O Box W-1451
St Johns Antigua
West Indies

They update the list of those who receive packages like once or twice a week. whenever the dude empties his truck and informs the school. with packages you get a slip from the school and then have to go to the airport cargo where you have to pay a broker 50 EC so they hopefully dont open your packages, realize the stuff is brand new, and then tax you 300 dollars for stuff that only amounts to 30 dollars.

hope that helps! good luck!
