your computer brand won't have any affect on the problems you may or may not have here.

no problems...one thing i would reccommend, if you don't already have it, is upgrading to 1 GB ram (at the very least). vista is a memory hog and if you are running on 512 mb, you will see a large performance boast if you upgrade to 1 GB. if you already have it, then you're golden!

I'm also wondering the same thing, is it ok to use my router with vonage , or should I buy the one that vonage offers for $59(motorola)? Also, whats wrong with linksys? I've used netgear, d-link, etc, and currently have a linksys, it works just as well if not better, is it something specifically to do with vonage?

Thanks

Vonage will work with a regular router. Also Just buy one connection from radioshack, and share with your roommates so it makes internet cheaper (that is if you guys are brining routers).

Yea guys. . . make sure you have a standard router to plug your vonage into if you are in Utopia. . . the Vonage router WILL NOT WORK by itself. If you have any questions. . .find me in utopia. . . or pm me.
