Thread: URGENT ------ AUA and Royal Bank of Canada.

I went to RBC yesterday to apply for a student line of credit with my acceptance letter in hand. That guy looked at the letter and name of the University and put into his computer, he wasnt having any luck I guess, so he picked up the phone and called someone and they sent a new list or something but still I think he had problems finding it. I kinda got a little worried and mentioned Kasturba Medical College and said that its a sister school and I applied to both ...etc. So he somehow ended up at OSAP website and found Kasturba Med College and made my application based on both AUA/Kasturba. Sounds a little sketchy.

If anyone has experience with this please tell me. I have to go back to RBC today to finalize my app.

Did you use AUA or Kasturba Medical College as ur school for RBC funding?

it's not fishy, you did apply for the AUA/KMC twinning program and our loans are through Kasturba.

Too bad the same can't happen with Sallie Mae

be prepared to get a co-signer. as soon as the application goes to the main office it will return back asking for a co-signer. thats what happened to me so am goin this tuesday with my mum as a co-signer lets hope everything works out
