Princeton Review Books

*Heads up*

The princeton review books provided to baltimore and miami student are copywrite 2002.

If you have a meeting with N.S. this semester, I would recommend someone bringing that up - discussing the importance of providing timely study material, and arguing for up to date review material.

I have currently been using kaplan books and videos to review.

ALSO - A VERY HANDY TOOL FOR YOU GUYS TO REFERENCE DURING YOUR BASIC SCIENCES IS EXAM MASTER (it's too detailed for review, but great for in class stuff). Ask the school how to log into that so you can do practice questions.

I think that there are only two options in terms of comprehensive USMLE review that can be purchased without taking a course: the Princeton Review book and the Kaplan Home Study series. The first is around 25 bucks on amazon.com and the second is ~500 dollars on the Kaplan site. That's probably why they went with Princeton Review. Between 2002 and 2007, there probably is a huge gap in pharmacology, microbiology and even path to some extent. I hope that most students are using more recent material to review on their own.

With regard to the Qbank, I really don't think that Exammasters is a good resource. The questions are horribly written and have neither diagnostic nor predictive value with regard to Step 1. Even Pretest is better. But that's just my opinion. They're ok for exams in Antigua, though.

Let's get it rolling w/Kaplan or Princeton Review courses as part of 5th semester. I mean students will be paying what? $10,000 for the semester? An integrated course will complement the already in place USMLE-preparing setup.

Greenberg, we already have Princeton "rolling."

The point of this thread was to inform students heading to 5th that the books provided are copywrite 2002.

Also, I only stated Exam master would be good for basic sciences - it is WAY too detailed for USMLE review. - again the school has subscribed to this, so ask around how to log on.

Thank you for the bold. My bifocals were giving up on me. Actually, they are copyRIGHT 2002.

I will try to report this to the proper representative resource. They should be able to alleviate this epistasis in the chronological occurance of relevant information. But alas, I am only a meager inferiority in this superior complex world of medicine.

Thank you Mr. GreenbergFan for taking the time to alleviate this epistasis in chronological occurrence of relevant information. Your synaptics are not suffering from stenosis but rather they're anastamosing with a lot of useful information for our ingestion.

Thanks again.
