are you confusing it with the "accelerated 3-semester basic science"? i saw this on a flier that i just received. this is a little confusing, what they're really trying to say is that they run 3 semesters a year instead of two like US schools and you get done with your basic science quicker than US schools because there are no summer breaks.

in the grand scheme of things, you're still graduating in 4 years given that match season only comes once at one paticular time of the year. you just may have a long break before the match and when your residency may start.
