response to below--sorry for the delay..my laptop crashed i finally had a moment to come to the schoo library..awnay..i am zone 1 cortsland if u go to the aua website u can see it on a map..no kitchen ..i asked for a community kitchen..haven't beena ble to cook once..the only one pot is mising..and they said they would provide utensils and plates.NO THEY DON"T..i had to buy my own..fridge(still smelly but it works)..bathroom i bought one sheet to put it on top of me but the others i use theirs..it looked clean and didn't smell..really really close to school..in the morning since thsi is off semester..the bus doesn't come so i walk with 3 other med semester 2 students..in the morning..easy 10 minute walk..very close..i pay 1400 with a roomate..sometiems ig et a ride from other students--by car it's literally a 2 minute drive usually 1 minute but u can't drive that fast..or it's not recommended..but some people do..when u walk no sidewalks..just trails.so definately be prepared--valuemd prepared me.it's a real change especially if u have never lived in a developing country before..or a 3rd world ok..but overall it's livable..i like the school so far but i have only been here for a week..but lets see when it gets crowded and everyone comes in.

akabeeks, where are you living? Is it Group I, II, III? Do you have a kitchen and/or freezer? What kind of sheets did you take, etc.? How far are you from the school (walk/drive)? Thanks for the info. Take care.

I like akabeeks list. 1 other thing to bring: an open mind realizing that you will have to adapt and learn that this is not home.
