Thread: This is crazy!

even of you have passed step I, you have to go through 5 semester if you want to transfer to AUA?
I have never heard anything like this!

Most schools just won't let you go into their clinicals if yuo transfer except for LCME schools. The reason is that they are going to be held responsible fro your conduct durign the cliniclas so they want to make sure that you are familiar with their own stuff. Especially important is that and this is for any school that you have your immunizations, insurance both health and malpractice as well as your BLS hopefully ACLS, PALS and last but certainly not least your HIPPA training and certification. Real important stuff p[lus they get an extra semester of tuition.

What is truly crazy is, why does AUA charge you a higher price for tuition, fees and housing but budgets your financial aid significantly lower than what they charge you for those specific catagories? They jack up the cost of attendance and forget to reflect the change for the student's budget. What's up with that?
