Useful info

Form 2CC is not needed for graduates of the following medical schools, which have been approved by the New York State Education Department to allow students to complete more than 12 weeks of clinical clerkships in New YorkState. The schools are:
  • St. George'sUniversitySchool of Medicine, St. George's, Grenada
  • RossUniversitySchool of Medicine, Roseau, Dominica
  • FatimaCollege of Medicine, Manila, Philippines
  • The Autonomous University of Guadalajara, Guadalajara, Mexico
  • International Health and Medicine Program, BenGurionUniversity of the Negrev, Beer-Sheva, Israel
  • English Language Program, Medical University of Lublin, Lublin, Poland
  • English Language Program, Medical University of Silesia, Katowice, Poland
  • AmericanUniversity of the Caribbean, St. Martin, Netherland Antilles
  • SabaUniversitySchool of Medicine, Saba, Netherland Antilles
  • St. Matthew's UniversitySchool of Medicine, Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands
  • KasturbaMedicalCollege, Manipal, India
  • English Language Program, University of Debrecen, Medical and Health Science Center, Medical School, Debrecen, Hungary
This info is for anyone who wants to know which schools are NY safe....it’s from their webpage http://www.op.nysed.gov/medforms.htm

From my personal research I find AUA to be a good school, YES IT IS A NEW SCHOOL, but they tell you that from the start, however, the faculty is great most of the profs are MD's the president is N. Sim. who was the president of Ross Univ.(one of the BIG 3) for some 10+ years, he also worked for the NYS medical board, under Thomas M*****, their in charge of site visits. Also Dr. Schwartz is the pro-vost; he's one of the most renowned surgeons, so it’s pretty good to be taught by him. AUA seems to moving in the right direction to become a good medical school in the Carb.

Well good luck to all who are trying their best to make it and hope you all get your M.D soon (that’s for every1 that’s in MedSchool, wherever you are)

To be honest, I think MUA is going to get it first simply because they had the visit first and their school is much more established(older). Then perhaps AUA
