This forum is rather dead. How many students are in attendance in basic sciences? Is there a permanent campus yet? What is the quality of the faculty? Any loans? Just curious. Yossarrian

Well, it's over a month now. Anyone alive out there? Does this place really exist or have students? Yossarrian
510 points the forum is indeed dead and so is the leadership of the school
they have a few students even got four new ones this term
cant say exactly much amount the quality of the faculty but what do you expect from a school which is ran using all part time teachers? and where a gynaecologist teaches the neurology science?
510 points Hi Yossarrian,
I have just finished my first semester at AAIMS and I am excited for the upcoming semesters. At the beginning of the term things were not so organized and the school has listened to our concerns and has worked to make improvements. I followed my first aid book with the topics that were discussed and most things were covered. Ultimately, it is up to the professor to be excited about the lecture, and the students to take the information and commit themselves to studying. Most of the professors were fine, only a couple were no one's favorites, however I've experienced this in undergrad, and you do the best to supplement what was provided in class. Since the school is in the countryside and is pretty new, it is understandable that they are working on a lot of things including their staff. My class is small with eight students, and most of us see the great potential of AAIMS and I have grown to understand that it was a good decision to give the school a chance. AAIMS is growing and this fall a lot more students are expected to start the MD program. The campus is pretty basic, however the campus grounds, rooms, and dining area are maintained well. A few students are either playing tennis, hanging out at the snack bar, and dinning area, or in the student lounge watching tv, or playing table tennis. As far as financial aid is concerned, there were no loans available when I applied, however, if anyone is interested they should speak to the financial aid office for more current information. Overall, there are areas that need improving, but I am learning a lot both academically and clinically. Hope this was helpful. All the Best- Sammy

CONGRATS on finishing your first semester at GAMES.
You must be commended for your honesty in reporting that ” At the beginning of the term things were not so organized”.. ie it was like fun and GAMES. EXACTLY! NO WONDER you are “ excited for the upcoming semesters. “
Re I followed my first aid book with the topics that were discussed and most things were covered.
So you are saying that the teaching of medicine at GAMES follows a course as revealed by your first aid book? So sound like the total medical novice and medical illiterate that your are.
Tell us Sir why should a school that is I year old have to be guided by medical novices to listen to their concerns to work out improvements. Should theynot be proactive? How long will it take to get the preparations for the incoming students right?
Tell us how the fact that the school is in the countryside and is pretty new, relates to anything. How is it that after a whole year that it is understandable that they are working on a lot of things including their staff. There are all fun and GAMES. NO LOANS NO CLINICALS NO EXPLANATIONS JUST GAMES!
Tell us about any other so called medical school in the whole world which began with part time teachers, and at which a gynaecologist teaches neurology. Did you read up that in your first aid book too.
You wrote “A few students are either playing tennis, hanging out at the snack bar, and dinning area, or in the student lounge watching tv, or playing table tennis.” So then your school is indeed adequately called GAMES!
SAMMY TAKE SOME ADVICE, GO AND READ YOUR FIRST AID BOOK AND PLAY SOME GAMES. YOU ARE A POOR CHEERLEADER!.......EVEN THOUGH YOU ARE HONEST I QUOTE YOU AGAIN ………….‘ At the beginning of the term things were not so organized………
AND THIS AFTER THREE SEMESTERS!
BUT THEN ITS FUN AND GAMES AT GAMES! Ah lie?
510 points Sammy GAMES
YOU …………..AAIMS is growing and this fall a lot more students are expected to start the MD program. …………………
SAMMY let me let you into a secret. That song has been sung before each semester by the full GAMES CHOIR IN UNISON. IT IS GAMES THEME SONG BUT THE REALITY IS THAT THE STUDENTS ARE GOING TO THE OTHER SCHOOLS WITH TRUSTED EXPERIENCED LEADERSHIP AND PROPER PROGRAMS !
LISTEN TO YOU AGAIN…….AN HONEST MAN I MUST SAY
YOU WROTE ………
Overall, there are areas that need improving,………..
SAMMY I WAS TOLD TO PUT YOUR POST BELOW SO YOU CANT PLAY THE ERASE GAME

Hi Yossarrian,
I have just finished my first semester at AAIMS and I am excited for the upcoming semesters. 510 points Returning Resident, It seems incredibly sad that you have so much energy in bringing down this school, without using your real name. We all know you're the disgruntled ex-lecturer, who was FIRED on valid grounds. Or could you be the ungrateful grossly obese individual who wanted to teach NUTRITION. Anyway, we all sympathize with your mental condition and hope that you will heal. I am not a person to have a "forum war", because I have a very full and active life. You may respond with another condescending entry, and I do not care, since I have very little control over what crazy people do. Continue bringing down a school that pays you no attention. Please seek therapy, and live a balance and happy life. Once again I really hope you heal from your past with AAIMS, as the future looks bright for us. Take care and God Bless You!
-Sammy (that's my real name hint hint)
Well, the lukewarm responses with no specifics give me, and should give others, cause for concern. No loans, a "few" students and studying first aid?? Website is not very helpful. Yossarrian
510 points Mr Sammy Sir!
I love to read your pithy puerile pedantic posts, and wonder what other so called medical school would admit you to their program
It takes very little to tell the truth, and it is enjoyable to see the truth cause folk to squirm.
No one needs to bring down GAMES, it will fall on its own demerits.
You need to know that more than 90% of folk in the blogosphere use pseudonyms.
I know that I am not disgruntled and that I was not fired from GAMES I am sure that the man to whom you refer can/will bring the necessary email proof when he is ready
Tell us how the goodly doctor is ungrateful? What did GAMES do for him that he didn’t deserve. My friend was grossly obese but has lost lots of weight, but GAMES is still trying to attract students, and continue to scrape the barrel with non stellar students of your ilk. Ah lie?
What is wrong with an obese person being interested in, our wanting to teach NUTRITION. Think about it. Don’t you see your argument is a non sequitur? Many obese persons know lots about obesity and nutrition because they have studied it looking for a solution. What you need in a teacher is that they are knowledgeable and that they can impart the knowledge they have gleaned. In medical schools it is necessary also that the teachers be MD OR Phd. Have you noticed the number of unqualified teachers at GAMES.
Every time someone posts the truth about a school on valuemd they are crazy. Hilarious! Your ad hominems will not change the fact that you could not get into a proper med school in the US or elsewhere. Your ad hominems will not change anything for the better at GAMES. You will be run ragged! Out to the baller. The truth the whole truth and only the truth.
Your ad hominems will not DETER ME FROM TELLINGBWHAT I KNOW EVERYWHERE I GO! Your ad hominems ONLY FIRE UP.LOL
Now you can run in again and bowl some more of your gentle lollipops and let me dismiss your nonsense to the boundary.
511 points @Returning Resident...can you outline the issues you may have with AAIMS please? I am interested in your thoughts...and Yossarrian...what are the pros of attending AAIMS?
