Thread: Classes at aaims

Good day to everyone.......

Can someone tell me if classes at A.A.I.M.S. are for the entire day, meaning 8am-4pm
every week day?

Please note: I want most of my questions answered before I get there!

I think they need to change the school name to be taken seriously. I think the people who name some of these don't know the power that a name has. When I hear the name "All American Institute of Medical Sciences" It does not sound like a medical school. Sounds more like a school where you learn to take blood pressure and draw blood only.

Please change your name to something like St. Elizabeth School of Medicine etc.

Also be able to answer people's questions about the location of clinical sites.

the name has been changed by some of my friends here in black river to GAMES. not only are they not being taken seriuously but they clearly are not serious about themselves or about education by the things they do

i have been advised that the curriculum makes no sense and that is totally different from thsat of other carribean schools

i was advised that they dont serve up any histology in thier course offerings and that this has caused the students in learning pathology a lot of headaches and heart ache

they have lots of support staff and very few students and some of the folk in the area locally believe that they may well be a well disguised laundry doubled as a retirement fund for all the employers from mandevile - just checkout all the nepotism and all the retirees that work there

after a year of operation no one knows where clinicals will be head up to now

may be the registerer and her brother or the so called executive dean and her husband both of whom never wentto medical school will take the students in toe for clinicals it will definitely be fun and games at games high school.

We are happy to be taught by eminent medical practitioners here and thankful to AAIMS crew for their effort in making us feel that we are already SUCCESSFUL
