What does it mean by diploma mill really ? We have to understand to whom this term truly apply..

First and foremost, it is advised that you complete your research when deciding what medical university to complete your education. But please be cautioned, the individual placing these links on the website has mislead the reader once again. There is a university with a very similar name operating within the U.S. which is listed as a non-accredited institution. This institution is not a medical school and has absolutely no affiliation with American Global University School of Medicine - Belize. AGUSM does not teach classes in Ohio - but they do have their U.S. information offices in Columbus, Ohio.

Since AGUSM is a foreign medical school, students are not permitted to complete pre-medical or basic science coursework in the U.S. (this rule applies to all of the foreign medical schools). Because AGUSM-Belize is IMED listed, once a student has successfully completed his/her pre-clinical coursework, they are eligible for ECFMG certification. ECFMG certification permits a student to complete USMLE (United States Medical Licensing Examinations). Students may also complete their clinical rotations within affiliated teaching hospitals in the U.S. Once a student has successfully completed their MD, USMLE, and ECFMG certification . . . they are then eligible for a residency program.

Even more research will clarify that American Global University School of Medicine-Belize is Accredited by the Ministry of Education-Belize and the Belize Medical School Accreditation Committee. In completing your homework, the researcher will also find that American Global University School of Medicine-Belize is IMED Listed. IMED is not an accrediting body, but will only list medical schools which are accredited. So if your school is not accredited . . . it will not be listed in IMED. AGUSM is listed.

The W.H.O listing is soon to come. Again, a knowledgeable researcher will know that there was a long restructuring period of the acceptance and listing of medical schools listed under the W.H.O. Now that they have completed the restructuring . . . school's are now permitted once again to apply. The listing is underway, unfortunately it takes a little time to complete.

CAUTION TO ALL . . . The rented room at the WTC in Curacao has no affiliation with the accredited American Global University School of Medicine - Belize. The rented room in Curacao is a scam and is not recognized or accredited by the Government of Curacao or The Netherlands . . . therefore if one attends this scam school, your credits aren't worth the paper they are written on. If you are a victim of the scam in Curacao, there is a police task force set in place in Curacao. Go to the legitimate AGUSM website at American Global University School of Medicine - Caribbean Medical School - Caribbean Medical College where you will find information regarding this scam and the authorities to contact.

To the researcher . . . if you know how to research foreign medical schools, please always use verifiable sources. Unfortunately this site usually receives posts from students who could not cut it in medical school or the occasional disgruntled/terminated employee.

This site use to be a wonderful source for students interested in communicating, but unfortunately the "bottom feeders" have dirtied the waters for most legitimate inquiries. Anyone who is on Valuemd bashing a school is usually someone with issues of their own.
