dude this school is a joke.......
the school's a joke, it started this past january. i called up the school a few times, and the guy who answers is the owner, financial aid guy, admissions guy, clinicals guy, registrar guy, etc. etc. etc............... they have 1 guy running the whole thing, it's the owner of the school. why anybody would even look at this school baffles me, i mean, it opened this past january. obviously you should be looking at:
1st priority- us schools 2nd priority- do schools or re-take mcat, do better in school 3rd priority- good carib schools (auc, ross, sgu, saba, eustatius, matthews) 4th priority- i think just re-take whatever classes you did bad on and improve, getting into a good carib school is not that difficult. if it is, maybe you should consider another profession, i mean, it ain't goin' to get any easier........................ |

besides.......
besides, don't look at other carib schools other than the ones i mentioned before. oh and sorry, include mua and spartan to the list above.
don't look at ANY other schools, as they are illegitimate, especially something like st. james, b/c st. james doesn't even have a campus, the 'owner' rents the building out for school use. they have no campus and no loan program. it is by far the worst school in the caribbean, right next to the other unprovens (asum, windsor, etc. etc. etc) |

Quote:
These schools have graduates in all 50 states: AUC, Ross, and St. Georges. This school will be eligible in all 50 states by the time you graduate: Saba. This school is a great school, and by the time you graduate, you will be approved for every state except California: St. Matthews. DO NOT GO TO ANY OTHER CARIBBEAN MEDICAL SCHOOL.

The Republic,
Apply to the big three: AUC, Ross, and SGU. All three are equally great schools and will get you where you want to go. I was accepted to all three, but I chose AUC because of the small class size, low tuition, new facilities, fantastic developed island, teaching style, greenbook clinicals, great reputation and residency placements. ^O)
