In the Windsor admission pre-requisite I note that they accept students who have passed their 12th Grade. I will be passing 12th grade in an Indian school in Kuwait with Physics, Chemistry, Bio & Maths as the main subjects and expecting about 90% marks. Please advise if I can get admission in Windsor after the 12th Grade and if so I would like to join the pre-med programme before going into the Basic Science programme or should I join the Basic science directly. Since I will be a landed permanent resident in Canada next year and hence I suppose I will not have problems getting a US visa at the time of clinicals in the US.
Another alternative is to do an undergraduation in Canada and try getting into a medical school in Canada after MCAT. If I join Windsor after 12th grade, do you think I will have problems at the time of licensing, as minimum 3 years of undergraduation is required in most states before joining an MD program.
