I've been looking at this for past 3 days.
Orbitz: Cheap Travel, Flights, Hotels, Vacations, Car Rentals, Cruise, Activities seems to give the best price. or if you hold isic card go to travelcuts.com they give you student discount.

I was looking at aug 28 and return flight at december 15th, I don't think there is flight on dec 14th, even if there is, I think it is quite expensive.
so far aug 28 and dec 15 gives me best price, I've heard from ppl that you must clear out of your dorm before you leave, so it will be smart move to have one day after exam to move you stuff into new house before you leave.

if you are YYZ student, if you can get across boarder, and fly out from buffalo, you save $200 easily, lowest I got was around $600..
but then it's too much ...
