When I called ECFMG on the phone, the person I was speaking with looked up the IMED data for our school and read it to me. To repeat myself. According to the ECFMG which relies on IMED, we need to do two years before we get our "real" medical school diploma.
I myself, think that a scheme where 5th pathway acts as your year of internship and your 1st year of medical graduate school acts as your social service year sounds good. But, you need a grad med program to accept you without ECFMG certification for that second year to work.
But Ginger, making a big slingshot out of hair bungies and flinging Gilligan off the island is not going to work. No matter how much the professor thinks about it.
