It’s interesting that Costa Rica also requires social service to obtain your Medical degree after 4 year of medical school and a year of internship but on the ECFMG search for medical school has Costa Rican school as 5 year programs and make no mention of the social service requirement. What ever the Costa Rican schools are doing is what Mexican schools and/or Gov. should be doing. Perhaps UAG should contact the schools in Costa Rica for advice on the issue.
