Fall 2008

Currently in May 08 MD 1. We have a class of 28 so far minus 1 kid that went back already. Current stats for Sept 08 is at about 60. I want to say the school is pretty lenient of admission but considering the more traffic coming our way both freshmen and transfers due to low cost and more stringent loan processes, I would say get your LORs in as soon as you can but you probably still have a high chance of being accepted.

In terms of housing and adaptation, arriving at the island, familiarizing and housing was tricky added to this fact is that the way of the people of the island is quite different. They take too many breaks.

Our set had it a little easier because of great help from an MD 2 student. I hope you guys find such great help when you arrive.

If you can afford to do a dry run, it might be helpful and if not arrive with ample time before the semester starts as you can imagine if 28 of us had a hard time, what 60-70 of you would go through. A great resource is contacting some of the estate agents you can find online via google or MD4 students that will be leaving.

Cheers
