what are my chances

I am a non-traditional student who dropped out of hs when I was 15 got my ged, and am now currently enrolled in college at the ripe old age of 29. I am currently studying computer science, but have had a burning desire to enter the medical field since I was a child. My current gpa is 3.9 and I am early enough in my college career to switch to pre-med. I am just wondering if I should bother even attempting to go pre-med, if any med schools will even look at my application, or stay the course with computer science. Any advice on this subject would be much appreciated.
