sounds about right.
of course you could take longer if needed, then you would need to request a LOA.

note...this is the schedule that US students take. so it is not impossible to REVIEW for usmle in about 6 wks. note i said REVIEW and not study. if you find yourself need to study for usmle, i suggest you take a LOA and take the time you need to do well on this exam, as you know, once you pass, you cant retake it, and if you fail, well that is also bad and also some states have limit on how many times you can take usmle in order to get licensed in that state. check the fsmb site for more details
