I could say a lot here about some of the classes, but I will refrain.
However, the one comment I will make is that when it comes to the USMLE, the ONLY class (thus far) I feel prepared me for that material was biochem. And I know this because I already started doing questions from the USMLE First Aid Question book (biochem section) and was able to answer most of them. This tells me that the information I received in this class was relative to what I might find on the USMLE. The ones I couldn't answer were things I needed to review, but they were at least familiar. The only other class I enjoyed was Nutrition (2 of the 3 visiting profs wasn't bad); the exam was comprehensive and I did well, but I cannot attest to its relativity to the USMLE studying - yet.
I should also say that Anatomy, while a fairly comprehensive course, is obviously more doable with the anatomy lab and the anatomy videos. I believe you have to have all of it to do well and learn anatomy, another crucial part of medicine. This course seems to be more integrated on the USMLE.
